Getting around the Chambéry region…
The Chambéry Area Transport Service (STAC) connects the various communes in the region and provides easy access to the city centre. The bus network consists of 27 regular routes and 3 on-demand services. 24-hour or 7-day tickets provide unlimited travel and can be purchased from STAC’s sales office in the Boulevard du Musée.
Chambéry Vélostation provides a range of services: security, bike hire and accessories, a Stac bus centre, events… It was set up by Chambéry Métropole to promote alternatives to the private car. You can hire a bike and use the almost 80 kms of cycle routes throughout the Chambéry region.
